Rick's Card Corner

I am not really a football card collector, but this unique card caught my eye on line, so I had to add it to my small collection of gridiron cards.

LaMar McHan played 10 seasons in the NFL for 4 different teams including the Chicago Cardinals, now the Arizona Cardinals, and the Green Bay Packers where he was the #1 quarterback over Bart Starr for a period from 1959 into the 1960 season.

McHan ended his playing career in 1965 with the Toronto Argonauts of the Canadian Football League. After his playing days were over, he became a well-respected coach with the New Orleans Saints.

The card is Topps, 1958.
